This special track aims at the development of information systems and Internet technology. It is intended to provide a high-quality platform for researchers and practitioners to present their latest theoretical and practical research with applications in this rapidly-changing area. Original papers are solicited in all aspects of the area with a special emphasis being placed on system modeling, algorithm design and applications.

       Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

Paper submission:

Papers should be original and contain contributions of theoretical or experimental nature, or be unique experience reports. Interested authors should submit a 6-page description of their original and unpublished work including 5 keywords in the IEEE format. All submissions must include author names and complete mailing addresses (including telephone number, fax number, and the email address). Extra charges will apply if final version of the paper exceeds six pages.

       Evaluation process:

All papers will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Papers will be evaluated for originality, technical content, language clarity, and significance to the conference. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings published by the IEEE Computer Society and available on the IEEE digital library. The conference proceedings are indexed and retrievable by EI, ISTP and DBLP. Selected papers presented in the conference will be considered for publication in a special issue of International Journal of Computers and Applications.

       Best student paper:

The Best Student Paper will be awarded at the conference. To be eligible, the student must be the sole author of the paper, or the first author and primary contributor. (The winner of the award will present the paper in a plenary session at the conference). A cover letter to the General Chair/Track Chair must identify the paper as a candidate for this competition at the time of submission.
