The watermark of this page reminds me of the petroglyphs (native Canadian rock carvings) found in the Kawarthas region of Ontario.  This region is also the home of Trent University where I relocated in the summer of 2001 after two previous appointments at the University of the West Indies (Barbados) and the Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean (Quebec).

The Computer Science/Studies program at Trent offers a unique blend of traditional computer science, modeling, and systems science.  We believe that it gives our students an intimate and  well-rounded educational experience at Canada’s top research university for primarily undergraduate schools.
